Project introduction: Xinfengjiang Reservoir has a total storage capacity of 13.9 billion cubic meters and an average annual water intake of 6.1 billion cubic meters. It is the largest artificial lake in South China among the seven major reservoirs in the country. At present, the ebb and flow zone is exposed, and the soil is peeled off layer by layer due to erosion by rain, resulting in serious soil erosion. Goal of Governance: Through the pilot project of the first phase of the ecological protection and restoration project in the Xinfengjiang Reservoir Area, restore the ecosystem in the Reservoir area, reduce soil erosion, purify the water quality of the inflowing water, and enable the Xinfengjiang Reservoir. The ecological environment and water resources are effectively protected and sustainable and healthy development is possible.
